Using the largest gang sheet isn't always the most cost-effective answer when ordering screen printed transfers. In this blog post we'll look at a couple of instances when using a smaller gang sheet is more cost effective than a larger gang sheet.

For the purpose of this blog post, all prices provided are assuming 1 color designs with customer ganged, vector artwork.

Small Quantities

Images Needed: 25
Image Size: 10.5"x5"

Oversize Gang Price

We can fit 3 images onto the Oversize Gang sheet. To fulfill the order we would need at least 9 sheets.

9 Sheet Price: $10.59 x 9 = $95.31 or $3.53/image (27 images)
12 Sheet Price: $5.71 x 12 = $68.52 or $1.90/image (36 images)

Small Gang Price

If we drop 1 logo from the gang sheet, we can fit 2 images onto the Small Gang sheet. To fulfill the order we would need at least 13 sheets.

13 Sheet Price: $4.84 x 13 = $62.92 or $2.42/image (26 images)

Something to Keep in Mind

We save a total of $5.60 using the Small Gang sheet. However, using the 12 sheet price break with the Oversize Gang sheet yields 36 images ($1.90/image). The 12 sheet price break for Small Gang will only yield 26 images ($2.42/image). If there's a chance you'll need the extra images, Oversize Gang is the way to go. If you truly only need 25 images, Small Gang will save you money.

Image Size: 3" x 3"

Large Gang Price

We can fit 12 images onto the Large Gang sheet. To fulfill the order we would need at least 9 sheets.

9 Sheet Price: $9.66 x 9 = $86.94 or $.81/image (108 images)
12 Sheet Price: $5.22 x 12 = $62.64 or $.44/image (144 images)

Adult Full Chest Price

Remember, if you're sending in your own ganged artwork, you can use ANY sheet size OR single image size. We can fit 9 images onto the Adult Full Chest sheet. To fulfill the order we would need at least 12 sheets.

12 Sheet Price: $4.50 x 12 = $54.00 or $.50/image (108 images)
